This Hamptons style kitchen and scullery is bright, light, fresh and airy with a coastal vibe that makes you feel warm from the moment you walk in.
Designer Michelle and her team planned, designed, and built her client’s dream white kitchen and scullery for their cliff-top new-build in Auckland’s Campbells Bay.
The clients were inspired by a previous kitchen they had in Australia, so Michelle emulated the much-loved traditional paneled doors, criss-cross glass cabinets and post details, all finished in Resene Black White.
The new kitchen takes centre stage to the dining and living areas which flow out into exterior decking and the breath-taking views.
An elegant, traditional feel was created using detailed moldings, double beaded doors and glass inserts that are mimicked throughout the home as well as heritage-style tapware from Perrin & Rowe London and a Falcon free-standing oven.
To gain extra storage Michelle used the traditional posts, either side of the freestanding oven, as pull-out pantries for essential cooking food storage, including a bottle storage.
The scullery houses a second sink and dishwasher for entertaining, as well as being the main food storage area.
The traditional white palette allowed the client to have a gallery-like backdrop for her oriental blue keepsakes. Strong lines and detailing seamlessly flows throughout the rest of the home tying together the bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, and main living area.
Michelle also designed an award-winning main bathroom, guest bathroom, living area cabinetry and a laundry for these clients’ home. View the award-winning dreamy white bathroom here.
